§ 2-116. Membership.

  • The administrative board shall have five members. Each member shall be appointed by the county judge. Each person appointed to the administrative board shall be a qualified attorney and elector of the county, and each person so appointed shall within ten days from the date of appointment subscribe to the oath of office and shall file evidence thereof with the county clerk. The term of each member shall be five years. The initial appointment of the administrative board shall provide for the appointment of one member for a one-year term; one member for a two-year term; one member for a three-year term; one member for a four-year term; and one member for a five-year term; so that one new member shall be appointed annually.
