§ 18-42. Responsibility of political subdivisions.

All political subdivisions and other governmental entities, whether located within or outside of the county, shall be responsible for the costs of providing medical care and treatment to all prisoners housed at the county detention center after being placed there by the political subdivision or other governmental entity until sentenced.
