§ 10-140. County sheriff designated as collector of installment fee on assessed fines.

A.C.A. § 16-13-709 requires the quorum court appoint a collector for the $5.00 installment fee on fines assessed in circuit or chancery court. One-half of said fines are to be remitted to the department of finance and one-half kept for the administration of justice. The county quorum court hereby appoints the county sheriff to the collector position.
